Alterations
Our highly skilled seamstress has over twenty years of experience working with bridal and other formal occasion gowns, and will be able to tailor your gown to fit you perfectly. Gowns purchased at Blushing Bride receive a discounted rate, however outside alterations are also accepted. Please call us at 585-431-0058 to set up your appointment.
Steaming and Ironing
Bring in your gown before your special day and we can remove wrinkles and creases so you look perfect as you walk down the aisle. We can press your gown and have it ready for you the same day, however we recommend bringing it in at least one day before you want to pick up it up. This allows the dress to dry completely before being placed back into its bag to prevent any mildewing.
Wedding Gown Preservation

After your special day, you can bring your gown back to Blushing Bride to have it preserved through The Wedding Gown Preservation Company. The Wedding Gown Preservation Company is located in Endicott, New York and has been preserving gowns for brides since 1913. Their anti sugaring treatment will prevent your gown from yellowing and other discoloration. Their process has been recognized by the International Fabricare Institute as the best method in gown preservation. For more details visit their website at www.gownpreservation.com
Lay-a-way Program
We offer affordable lay-a-way plans for all gowns. An extended payment plan can be custom created to accommodate your individual needs. After your complementary grace period ends, you may extend your payment for as long as you need. A monthly payment is required on all lay-a-way gowns and a small fee of $10.00 for a bridal gown or $5.00 for a bridesmaids gown will be added to your account for each month you choose to enroll in the lay-a-way program.
Secure Storage Option
Our secure storage will protect your wedding gown from accidental damage, pet hair, and the curious eyes of your fiance. Only $50.00 for six months will hold your gown in the safety of our storage facility.
